For my second paper, I would like to talk about how the noises from the crowd can affect soccer players during a match. Even though many people might say a noisy crowd can affect the players negatively due to distraction and bringing down their mood, it is essential to make them feel supported and increase their energy levels and motivation to keep playing. I want to use examples like sport chain websites to show how vital the crowd’s noise is for the soccer players since it leads to various favorable factors leading to an improvement in their performance and motivating them to victory.

When Kruwoski says, “the marginal-the rejected-the repressed-is whatever the powerful have decided is of no use at the moment.”, he states that society has control over the components exposed in the world and chooses what they do with it. Apart from citizens, corporations and programs are in charge of making it popular, disliking it, or updating it due to lack of appreciation or old quality. Kruwoski also describes that there is something powerful in recovering what power has rejected which refers to society. This idea shows the community has two types of people, the ones who go with the flow and are part of what the majority are into at the moment and the ones interested in the shadows. These people are open to maintaining different expectations and accept a variety of tastes.

Kruwoski comments that being surprised by music happens when you find tunes similar to your past experiences with music. This procedure occurs through digital corporations that can predict future likings due to recent history. Still, at the same time, it prevents you from having new and original experiences. Oppositely, discovering music is the process of having contact with new horizons where you can explore freely with no idea of what conforms to it.

The music experiences from Forced Exposure are songs extracted globally and give many users a chance to create new expectations in music and expand their music taste. Music organizations like Spotify only offer you themes related to your taste in music and stay inside your music bubble due to a computer programmer controlling the app.

In living with music, Ralph Ellison describes how music affected his experience living in a New York City building by illustrating how the noise his apartment would have was such a regular and frequent thing in his life. Still, at the same time, it influenced him to become part of the music world because sounds provoke emotions that lead to inspiration even though at first he found it annoying.

The sentence “In those days, it was to live with music or die with noise ….” means the world revolves around noises, and it’s up to the person whether they want to take it and appreciate it or neglect it.

The comparison between Ellison’s essay and Episode 2 by Damon Krukowski’s supported the idea of different ways to avoid disturbing sounds. As technology advances, we come up with new ways to ignore them and stay in our bubble.

The difference between hearing and listening is that hearing is just noticing words that are put out there without giving them much thought, while listening is paying close attention to each word and analyzing what is said. We make choices about what we listen to through our lives. People tend to guide themselves by very well-known characters in media or citizens who have experience and high education levels or even wealthiness because it gives them a sensation of credibility due to their status. The government or celebrities can also influence people due to the support and loyalty they give to them.

Shafer and Krukowski explained that the relationship between space and sound is represented differently, reflecting our environment and what we are trying to express. But now, since things are changing and technology is advancing, new ways of interpreting these relationships have been created. It doesn’t change the fact that we prioritize the public spaces surrounding us due to the influence of audio. Still, it works differently, like digital media generates specific sounds that disconnect us from the worldmaking us focus on what’s in front of us. They think it can also be harmful because the more the technology evolves, the fewer skills we develop.

Berger states that the white media would use their publications to illustrate black people negatively and use it to increase the force and superiority of white people. For this reason, I agree with Berger due to the clear evidence that white people wanted to create this atmosphere that everything revolved around them and made them think they had the right to treat black people the way they thought it was correct. This issue led to both outcomes for both communities, but unfortunately, it only increased the integrity of white people. Movements like this only promote white supremacy and racism worldwide.

1. According to Berger, publicity influences consumers to persuade them to a new transformation where people are portrayed as leveled-up citizens who will stand out in society and cause envy around them. Envy composes what glamour is about, and looks are based on it, making people want to look that way and achieve their dream of being part of that chain with no exceptions.
2. The difference between these two topics is that oil painting is to appreciate the beauty of things according to what you have, while publicity is all about selling, making the customer desire to have them aspire to become part of that lifestyle. In addition, these two are essential because they increment appreciation and value of things and persuade society to get them.
3. The dream of later tonight portrays satisfaction starting from people having fun with alcohol included leading to a specific event; therefore, its imagery makes the audience incorporate this new way of living, including freedom and no compromises.

Throughout the videos, Berger argues that men objectified women through artwork during the Renaissance period, which led to specific thoughts about their bodies and made them less confident in themselves. It shows how the different points of view have been changing from sexuality to natural beauty over the years. Even though most women have control over their media images, I also believe that small groups of women still do not have total control of themselves, which could be due to many factors. I don’t think sexuality plays the exact role in women’s images today because society’s mentality has changed for the better and sees it differently, more like normal beauty or art.

The advantages of the model “entering the conversation” can be seen as the increment of critical thinking and development of equipped claims or ideas to contribute to other’s people’s opinions through an open conversation, and based on that, we can improve our analytic and communication skills. The templates from Gerald Graff and Cathy Birkenstein introduce a more structured way of writing that will increase our knowledge, creativity, and ways of thinking throughout the writing by observing and analyzing different claims.

Learning to look at artwork helps us analyze other situations because visuals can improve visual acuity and communication skills. These skills are necessary for real-world situations, and they will make us develop different perspectives, especially when it comes to difficult problems that require intense attention and analysis.
